1. 憂鬱症 (Depression)

 

憂鬱症是常見的心理障礙,全球約有15%的人患上這病症。憂鬱症最明顯的症狀包括情緒低落及對過往喜愛的活動失去興趣。其他症狀包括喪失食慾和/或體重減輕、或相反地暴飲暴食和體重增加、失眠、早醒、或睡眠過多、煩躁不安、無價值感或內疚、絕望、思維或集中或決策困難。若身體不適症狀如頭痛、消化功能紊亂、慢性疼痛長久治療亦未有好轉時,其原因可能與病人的憂鬱症有關。嚴重的憂鬱症可能導致病人自殺或出現自殺的想法。上述症狀必須持續至少兩個星期才能被確診為憂鬱症。然而憂鬱症可分為輕度、中度或嚴重程度。 認知治療(認知行為治療的其一療法) 被視為治理不同嚴重程度憂鬱症病人之最有效方法。
