4. 社交焦慮症 (Social Anxiety Disorder)

 

社交焦慮症亦是焦慮症的一種。在香港約有3.2%的人患上這病症。患者面對社交情境或活動時,會感到極大的恐懼。社交焦慮症的徵狀可以包括:持續害怕一種或多種社交情境(如必須與不熟悉的人相處,或可能被他人仔細查察,害怕自己將因為行為失當或顯露出焦慮徵狀而招致羞辱或困窘等) 。處於畏懼的社交情境時,幾乎必然會引發焦慮的生理反應。常見的社交焦慮情境可以是:

  • 害怕在公開的場合表演,例如演奏樂器、演說、比賽、受測試等等。

  • 害怕在小組或會議裏發言,怕讓自己成為眾人的焦點。

  • 害怕在跟別人有分歧的時候,要表達不同的意見、不認同或不滿。

  • 害怕參加或主持社交活動。

  • 害怕公開吃喝,要在別人面前吃東西。

  • 害怕在商店、辦事處等場所與店員或職員交談和交涉。

  • 害怕在公共廁所站立小解(只是男患者)。

  • 害怕在電話中與人交談、與別人約會、被介紹給他人認識。

認知行為治療是現時社交焦症有效的治療方法。
