12. 成人專注力不足/過度活躍症 (成人 ADHD)

 

ADHD 是一種神經生理及家族遺傳的疾病, 是一個頗普遍的兒童成長及發展問題,其徵狀主要是集中力不足及活動過度和衝動。香港約有5%的兒童患有此問題,而約65%的兒童及青少年的患者在成年期後繼續受這些徵狀影響。一些成人ADHD的徵狀包括:

  • 很容易就被外來刺激或不相關的想法分心;

  • 做出衝動的決定;

  • 感到很難停止活動或行為;

  • 在開始新事情或工作時,未能細心閱讀或聆聽有關指引;

  • 不能貫徹作出的承諾;

  • 感到很難按著正確的次序和程序完成事情;

  • 開車比別人快得多,或很難安靜地進行消閒活動;

  • 工作或消閒活動時,難以維持專注力;

  • 感到很難組織及計劃工作和活動。

成人ADHD可影響生活很多的領域,包括患者的工作、健康、友誼、家庭生活、甚至婚姻!治療成人 ADHD的首選治療方案是藥物。以往較少有關成人ADHD心理治療研究,然後,在2010年,有兩本國際權威的醫學期刊(American Journal of Psychiatry及Journal of The American Medical Association),各自刊載兩個不同醫學組織運用認知行為治療(CBT)有效地改善成人ADHD徵狀的醫療成果。
